Kanao Tsuyuri

"It's Kanao. Now both of you please go to the wardrobe. Have fun."-Kanroji said.

Y/n stood up, ready to go but Nezuko got another idea in her mind. She hugged y/n's leg, refusing to let go.

"You don't want me to go?"-y/n asked.

Nezuko shaked her head. Y/n smiled and patted her head gently.

"I won't be long."-y/n tried to convince Nezuko.

Nezuko started to let go and lied down beside Makomo. Y/n started walking with Kanao to the wardrobe. She didn't know why, Nezuko seems to be attached to her. Well, y/n can't spend time with Nezuko when she's with her older brother.

Y/n walked inside it. After making sure Kanao have safely entered, y/n closed the wardrobe.

"What should we do now?"-y/n asked.

Kanao shaked her head.

"Maybe cuddle."-Kanao asked.

Y/n turned her head in awe. She just couldn't believe her ears. Kanao speak. Well of course she can. She's not deaf. Well, it's rare for her to make decisions without the lucky coin that Kanae gave to her.

"Sure. Come here."-y/n said as she opened her arm.

Kanao slowly wrapped her small yet strong arm around y/n wrist.

"Are you okay?"-Kanao asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Were you worried about me?"-y/n asked.

Kanao just nodded her head. She then buried her face on y/n's shoulder.

"I'm fine Kanao."-y/n kissed Kanao's forehead.

"Seems like she's really worried about me."-y/n thought.

Y/n patted Kanao's head while thinking, I like this girl. She's always in my mind. But I think it's too early to confess. But being a demon slayer, we don't know how much time we have left.

"Kanao, do you like anyone?"-y/n asked.

"Yes."-Kanao replied with a soft voice.

When she said that, a red-haired figure came to y/n's mind.

"Could it be Tanjiro? Well, who wouldn't like Tanjiro?"-y/n thought.

She sighed.

"Is it Tanjiro?"-y/n asked, preparing herself for the upcoming heartbreak if she said yes.

"It's not him."-Kanao said.

Y/n was surprised to hear her answer yet a part of her felt relieved. If it wasn't Tanjiro then who is it?

"Have you confess yet?"-y/n asked.

Kanao shaked her head. She was playing with her y/n's haori.

"Why not?"-y/n asked.

"Might get rejected."-Kanao replied.

"What about you practice confessing?"-y/n suggested.

"You sure?"-Kanao asked.

Y/n nodded her head.

Even if it wasn't me, I hope she's happy with the one she love, y/n thought to herself.

"Okay."-Kanao said.

"Alright, why do you like this person?"-y/n asked.

"She's kind and beautiful. She's brave. She's so kind. Always help others. But I wish she can be a bit more selfish and think about herself more."-Kanao explained.

Y/n couldn't believe her eyes. She wasn't expecting Kanao to be this... talkative? Her feelings for this person might be as strong as her breathing style.

"When you confess, keep calm and voice it out. Loud and confident."-y/n said.

"What if she rejects me?"-Kanao asked.

"Even if she did, you'll no longer hope for the person's love and move on someday."-y/n gave her advice.

Kanao stared at her. Her expression already explained everything. She's thinking of something that can change her life. Heavy decision probably circulating inside her brain as she gathered all the courage to voice her feelings out.

"I like you."-Kanao confessed, might be loud enough for the girls outside to hear.

"Yup, like that. That's how you confess to your crush."-y/n said.

Kanao nodded.

"Well, you can find your crush after tonight and confess your feelings."-y/n said.

"I already did."-Kanao said.

"Eh? No way. When?"-y/n asked, confused.

"Just now."-Kanao said, covering her face with her hands.

The wardrobe door then sprang opened by none other than the love hashira herself.

"Alright, time's up."-Kanroji said and leave.

"You are my crush."-Kanao said, leaving a kiss on y/n's cheek before leaving.

Y/n walked outside the wardrobe, hand pasted on her cheek and still processing everything that just happened. It was like a dream came true. She sat next to Kanao. She leaned closer to Kanao and whispered.

"I like you too, Kanao Tsuyuri."

Kanao almost burst with embarrassment when she heard that. Kanae looked at the two girls happily. She already understood what happened inside the wardrobe as Kanao's confession was indeed loud enough for them to hear.
