Kocho Kanae

 "Oh my. It's me."-Kanae said and smiled.-"Let's go,y/n."

Y/n nodded.

"I won't be long Nezuko."-y/n said, patting Nezuko's head gently.

Y/n then followed Kanao inside the wardrobe. Kanae sat down while y/n closed the door. Kanae sat down as y/n closed the door. She then proceed to sit beside Kanae.

"I was relieved when the bottle landed on me."-Kanae sighed.

"Are you worried?"-y/n asked.

"Of course I'm worried."-Kanae replied, crossing her arm.

"How are you these days?"-y/n asked again.

"Of course I'm feeling great."-Kanae said.

"Kanae. You can't fool me. I know you very well. I know exactly when you're lying and when you told the truth."y/n said.

Kanae let out a soft chuckle.

"Of course you know that "-Kanae smiled.

Y/n crept closer and hugged Kanae.

"If you want, you can whisper it to me. You don't want the others to know right?"-y/n said.

Kanae tried her best not to cry so loud. Y/n felt tears on her shoulder.

"I'm worried."-Kanae sobbed.

"About Kanao and Shinobu?"-y/n asked.

Kanae nodded. She hugged y/n tighter.

"I'm worried. If I die, what will happen to them. Will they be alright."-she cried.

Y/n kissed her head, still caressing her back. To everyone, she's a soft, calm and kindhearted pillar. She is always so gentle to others. Quite the contrary to her younger sister Shinobu.

But she's a human after all. She have flaws. Matters that she needed to protect.

"And if I die. Will you be alright? If... If it's the opposite. What should I do?"-Kanae sobbed.

Y/n detached herself and looked at Kanae with a serious face. Kanae panicked when y/n looked at her like that.

"I... I'm sorry. It's not like I want you dead. I'm just worried. I don't wanna lose you. I'm so afraid to lose you."-Kanae trembled.

Y/n's face softened as she hold Kanae's face gently.

"It's okay Kanae. I wasn't mad. You know that right?"-y/n said, using her finger to wipe Kanae's tears.

Kanae nodded. Y/n caressed her cheeks gently. 

"Yes. It's terrifying to talk about death. It is. I'm terrified too."-y/n said, holding Kanae's hand gently.-"But for now, I just wanna cherish our moments together. So in the future, there will no regret among us. You should do the same with. With me. Also with Shinobu and Kanao."

Kanae chuckled. Eyes still wet from crying.

"You're amazing, y/n."-she said.

"Amazing? Me? I'm an average girl."-y/n replied.

"Yes. You are. My darling is amazing."-Kanae kissed y/n on the lips.

Y/n closed her eyes. Her kiss is so sweet. Just like her. Like always. At the same time...

"Onee-chan!"

That voice shocked the both of them. Y/n hides her face on Kanae's shoulder.

"Why are you kissing y/n?"-Shinobu asked.

"Maybe because she's my girlfriend?"-Kanae said calmly.

"Since when? Just now?"- Shinobu asked.

"Nope. Around three months ago."-Kanae said calmly.

Shinobu became silent. She then walked away slowly.

"She was probably shocked."-y/n sighed.

"I'll explain it to her later."-Kanae replied.
