Blind date 11: Muramatsu Takuya

You were waiting for your blind date partner in front of the restaurant when you heard your stomach growling.

[Damn…maybe I should eat something while waiting for him.]

Suddenly…

“(y/n).”

You turned around and saw Muramatsu.You blushed upon seeing him,smiling in front of you.

“So,you’re my partner?”-he asked.

“Y-yes.”-you answered when your stomach growled again,asking to be feed.

“Oh…”

“Sorry.”-you apologized,feeling embarrassed with yourself.

“It’s okay.”-he said.-“Let’s get something to eat.”

“O-okay.”-you replied.

“I’ll treat you with something…but not here.”-he said.

“Hmmm?”

“Let’s go somewhere else.”-he said,holding your hand making you blushed madly.

“Are you okay?”-he asked suddenly.

“Eh…I-I-I’m fine.”-you answered.

Suddenly…he pulled you closer to him as he put his hand on your forehead,only to make your blush became darker.

“Your face is red,so I thought you have fever.”-he said.

“I-I’m just hungry,”-you lied.

“Oh,let’s go then.”-he said.

“So…I heard from the class that your father owned this restaurant.”-you said as you wached him across the counter,making ramen for you.

“Yeah,but I need to warn you first…well…our ramen…taste horrible.”-he said.

“It’s okay.I always have weird taste anyway.”-you replied.

“What do you mean by ‘weird taste’?”-he asked.

“How do you best eat an ice cream?”-you asked back.

“Well,eat it right away before it melt.”-he answered as he put a bowl of ramen in front of you.

“Well,that’s normal right?”-you said as you watched the ramen in front of you.-“I like to eat it when it’s already melt.”

“Eh?”

“Weird,right?”-you chuckled.

“Yeah,it is.”-he said.-“But that’s cute.”

[Did he just said I’m cute?Damn,I can’t show that I have feelings for him.]

“Itadakimasu.”-you said and started eating.

“Not bad.”-you complimented.

“R-really?”-he asked.

“Or maybe I’m too hungry right now.”-you replied.-“I skipped meal last night.”

“Why?”-he asked.

“Well,I have to be careful with my daily expenses.”-you answered as you enjoy the ramen.

“I see.”-he said.-“So…where should we go today?For the blind date?”-you asked back.

He nodded his head and smile.

“I don’t know.”-you said.-“But who’s gonna…

“My dad.He’s inside right now.He said that I can take a break today since I said I’m going out with my cr…I mean…friend.”-he explained.

“Oh…okay.Anywhere is fine.”-you answered.

“I don’t have any idea.”-he said.

“Muramatsu.”

You turned your face and saw Terasaka with Hara.

“Oh,what are you doing here (y/n)?”-she asked.

“Well,I’m on a date but I got hungry so Muramatsu brought me here.”-you answered.

“Oh,so where is your partner?”-Terasaka asked.

“Muramatsu.”-you replied.

“Oh,isn’t that great?”-Terasaka said.

“O-oi!”-Muramatsu scolded.

“It’s great for you too right (y/n)?”-she asked as she smile at you.

“Eh?”

You avoided eye contact with her as you continued eating.

“So,how does it taste (y/n)?”-Terasaka asked.

“Not bad.”-you replied.

“Seriously?”-Terasaka asked again.-“You don’t have to lie about it.Even the boss’s son said it is horrible.”

“I seriously like this.It suited my weird taste anyway.”-you replied.

“It’s not your taste that is weird.You’re weird as well.”-she said.

“Maybe that’s why Muramatsu l…

“Shut up,Terasaka.”-Muramatsu cutted Terasaka’s word before he can even finished it.

“Hmmm?”

“Ne,(y/n).What’s your ideal type of man?”-she asked suddenly,making you choked with your food.

“Eh?That’s…well…it’s embarrassing to tell that now.”-you said with a slightly blushing face.

“It’s okay.”-she said.”-Or maybe the ideal man is always so close to you.Like Karma?”

“Huh?Why Karma?”-you asked.

“It’s just a mere guess.But based on your reaction,that ideal man is not Karma.”-she said.

“I don’t know what makes you think that but the answer is no.”-you said.-“Not a sadist like him.”

“Then,tell us your ideal man.Just one trait then.”-she said,keep forcing you to spill the bean.

“I love the man who can cook.”-you said nervously.

“Wow,that make sense.”-Terasaka said.

“What do you mean?”-you asked.

“Well,nothing.”-he answered,

“By the way,we brought this but we can’t go since I have work to do.What about both of you go.”-she said as she handed over two movie tickets to you.

“Oh…is it okay for you guys?”-you asked.

“Yeah…it’s okay.”-she said.

“Umm,Muramatsu...where can I find the toilet?”-you asked as you handed the tickets over to him.

“Inside.”-he answered.-“Dad,my friend want to go to the toilet.”

“Okay.”

“(y/n),do you want popcorn?”-Muramatsu asked.

“Sure.”-you answered and with that,he went to the stall nearby.

You sighed when suddenly,you heard a snapping sound beside you.You turned your face towards the sounds only to find Okajima with a camera in his hand.

“Oh,Okajima.”-you greeted him.

“What’s a beautiful girl like you doing here alone?”-he asked.

“Well,I’m waiting for…

“She’s with me.”

You turned around and saw Muramatsu,holding two cups of bicarbonate drink and a popcorn in his hand.You decided to help him by taking the bicarbonate drinks from his hand.

“(y/n),let’s go.The movie is starting.”-Muramatsu said as he hold your arm.

“Oh,you guys are going to the movie as well.”-Okajima asked.

“Y-yeah.”-you replied.

“What a coincidence.Well,I’m going too.Let’s go then.”-Okajima said.

“We ended up sitting next to each other.Isn’t that fun?”-Okajima said as the movie barely started.

“Yeah,I guess so.”-you replied.

[What do you mean by fun when you just ruined my day?]

“Hey,(y/n).”-Muramatsu asked.

“Hmmm?”-you replied as your eyes are still on the screen.

“Look at me for a second?”-he asked.

You turned your face towards him and smiled.He pulled you closer to him and kissed you passionately.Your finger rumbling against his hair,asking for more.You were shocked but you like how much he licked your lower lips,asking for entrance.You smirked and gave him an easy entrance for his tongue to explore your wet mouth.He broke the kiss when the two of you are out of breath.

“Wow,that was something…well…I didn’t expect that from you.”-you replied,as you felt your face is getting warmer.

He looked directly at your eyes and smile.-“So,your ideal man is someone who can cook huh?Is that referring to me?”

“Eh?”-you asked as your blush darken.

“I guess I’m right.”-he said.-“Ne,(y/n)…do you perhaps…have feeling for me?”-he asked.

He guessed that right but you don’t like the way he asked you.You didn’t like that sarcastic tone of his.

“It doesn’t matter anyway.”-you replied as you focused back on the movie.

“(y/n)…I wanna hire you a position at my father’s restaurant.”-he said.

“A position?”-you asked as you focus back to him.

“Yes,when I take over the restaurant from my father,I want you as the second boss of the restaurant.”-he said.

“Second boss?”-you asked curiously.

“In other words,when we graduate high school later,and when I successfully take over my father’s business,I want to marry you.I wanna live my life with you.If that’s okay with you.”-he explained.

You were speechless with his sudden confession.

“I never thought that you…share the same feeling as me.”-you mumbled.-“I thought I am the only one who hide my feelings.”

“I like you,(y/n).”-he said.

“So…

“So…we are officially in relationship now.”-he said as he caressed your cheek.

You nodded your head and smile.

[I never thought that he would confess his feeling right now.Right inside of the cinema hall.]

“Don’t skip your meal ever again okay.”-he said.-“Just come to the restaurant,and I’ll cook something delicious for you.”

You nodded your head and smiled.-“I won’t skip meal again.”

“So,both of you are in a relationship now.”-Okajima said.

“Yeah,I love her.”-Muramatsu replied proudly.

You noticed that Okajima’s face changed when he heard Muramatsu’s word just now.

[What happened to him?]

“Well…I thought that I have the chance to be with you (y/n) but I guess your heart belong to someone else now.I think I won’t ruined your date so I’ll be going then.”-Okajima said and left.

*Rough flashback,at the restaurant

“Muramatsu…you better confess to her as soon as possible.”-Terasaka said.

“Huh?Why?”-Muramatsu asked.

“I heard from Nagisa that Okajima plan to confess to her too.He have always like her.So you better act fast.”-Terasaka replied.

“I heard that too.I noticed that he made (y/n)’s picture as his wallpaper.”-Hara said.

“Confess in the cinema hall.It’s dark so she won’t noticed your blushing face.”-Terasaka suggested.

“Okay,I’ll give it a try.”-he said.

“Oh,this is a bad news for you Muramatsu.”-she informed.

“What’s wrong?”-Muramatsu asked.

“Well,Kanzaki told me that she ditch Okajima and now he’s planning to watch a movie.And to be worst,it’s the same movie as you guys.”-she explained.

“Then…I must do it today.I can’t postpone it anymore.”-Muramatsu said.-“I must confess my feeling for her today or I won’t get the chance anymore.”

“That’s the spirit.”-Terasaka encouraged.

And thanks to that,he confessed his feeling to you and both of you are officially dating.
