Blind date 7: Chiba Ryunosuke

[Hmmm…what should I do with my partner today? Maybe if my partner is Chiba,I can invite him to the festival to check out the shooting booth.He’s so good with his eyes,maybe he could win me a few gifts.]

You grinned as you thought your perfect plan when suddenly…

“(l/n)?”

You turned your face towards the sound and saw the person you’ve been thinking about.The class fearsome sniper,Chiba Ryunosuke.

“Hi,Chiba-kun.”-you greeted.

“Hi.”-he replied awkwardly.

“How are you today?”-you asked.

“I’m fine.”-he answered.

[Damn,this is awkward.]

“Where should we go today?”-you asked.

“What about you?Where do you wanna go?”-he asked back instead of answering your question.

“What about the festival.”-you suggested.

“Oh,okay.”-he answered with a straight face.

[Maybe he doesn’t like to date me.]

“Etto,Chiba-kun.I forgot that I have something important to do.”-you said and bowed.-“I’ll be going first then.”

“Eh,(l/n).”-he called out but you walk away,ignoring him.

You climbed on the bus and took a seat.You peek outside but he is nowhere to be seen.

“He really didn’t like the date.Maybe he’s hoping that Hayami will come instead of the ugly me.”-you sighed.

“Damn,it’s been 2 hours since the arranged ‘blind date’ and I choose to run away from it.”-you said as you enjoy your cakes.-“At least the cake here is so delicious.It’s sweet.And people say that sweet things can mend your heart.”

Suddenly,a waitress approached you with a chocolate parfait.

“Excuse me miss.”-she said as she put the chocolate parfait on your table.

“I didn’t order this.”-you said.

“Oh,someone order it and ask me to give this to your table.”-she replied with a sweet smile.

“Who?”-you asked again.

“He refuse to give us his name.”-she said.-“Don’t worry miss,it’s safe.”

“Okay,thank you.”-you said.

“It’s my pleasure miss.”-she said as she walk away.

You grabbed the parfait and stared at it.You taste half spoon of it with a heart full of curiousity and worry.

[Hmm,nothing weird.I wonder who gave me this?Chiba?Aaarghhh,what am I thinking?]

You strolled along the shops leisurely when you feel someone is following you from behind.You turned around but no one seems suspicious.Everyone seems to be enjoying their time.

[Maybe just my imagination.]

Suddenly,a huge bear mascot hugged you,wraps a beautiful blue scarf on your neck and give you a cute panda plushie.

“Oh,thank you.”-you said even though you’re still shocked with the sudden surprise.

The mascot bowed to you before walking away instantly.

[This is so sweet.I’m so lucky today.]

You noticed a note attached to the bear.

Turn around.

You did as the note told you to do and you were standing in front of your supposed to be partner for the day.Chiba Ryunosuke.

“Oh,I thought…wait,what are you doing here?”-you asked.

“A date…with you.”-he answered.-“Why did you left?”

“I thought…you didn’t like it.Dating with someone like me.”-you answered.-“I thought you wanted Hayami as your partner.”

“Hayami and I are just friend.”-he replied.-“I was too nervous that I don’t know how to reply to your every words.That’s why I didn’t response to you earlier.”

“Eh?”

“I’m really excited about this date.”-he said.-“Please let me take you somewhere.”

“What about the carnival?T-today is the last day.”-you replied.

“I’ll take you anywhere you want.I’ll win you a gift at the shooting booth.”-he replied as if he knows what’s in your mind.

“O-okay.”-you said.

“Damn,did he just read my thoughts.Or he said that because that’s his strong point.”-you thought.

“Let’s go.”-he replied as he hold your hand.

“Wow,you’re really amazing.”-you said as you hugged the gift that he won for you.-“Thank you.”

“Well,it was easy.”-he said,holding the back of his neck.

“So,you’re the one who ordered the parfait?”-you asked.

“Yes.And I asked the mascot to surprise you with that panda plushie too.”-he replied.-“You know,I never felt such a strong feeling for a girl before,that’s why I didn’t know what to do.”

“Does that mean,you like me?”-you asked.

“Yes,(l/n).I like you.”-he replied.-“I thought I am the only one who feel this.Because…the entire class said that you have a crush on Karma.That’s why I don’t have courage to confess.”

“Ryunosuke-kun.I…I like you too.”-you confessed with a red face.

“Se-seriously?”-he asked and noticed that you’re having difficulty hugging all the gift.-“Wait here,you need a bag for that.”

He walk away and was back with a bag in his hand.

“Eh?It’s okay.”-you said.

“No,it’s not okay.”-he said as he took the gifts from you before putting all of them in the bag.-“I can’t hug you if your hands is full.”

You blushed when he suddenly pulled you into a hug.

“Hear that,our heart beat the same rhythm.”-he said.-“You got me,(y/n).You shoot me right in the heart.”

“I really like you Ryunosuke.”-you said.

“I like you too.That means we’re couple now?”-he asked.

“Yes.”-you answered when suddenly,a snapping picture can be heard.

You saw your class target was standing there,grinning at you with a camera in his tentacle.

“Ryunosuke.Koro-sensei is here.”-you said and both of you detached the hug.

He took the bag,hold your hand and dragged you away from koro-sensei.

“My precious student,wait.”-koro-sensei yelled.

Both of you stopped in front of the shaved ice corner.

“He looked panic.”-you said.

“(y/n)-chan.”-he called out.

“Eh?”

“You’re my girlfriend now.So of course I’ll call you like that.Do you like it?”-he asked.

“I like it,Ryu-chan.”-you replied.

“Ryu-chan?”-he asked.

“I’ll call you with a cute nickname too.”-you answered.

“I guess it’s okay…if it’s you.”-he said,blushing.

“Ah,I never saw your eyes before.”-you said.-“Why did you cover them with your bangs?”

You combed his bangs with your finger and saw his maroon coloured eyes.

“You have beautiful eyes.”-you complemented.

“Eh,you’re not afraid of my eyes?”-he asked.

“Of course I’m not.”-you replied.-“Why would I be afraid?”

“My classmates used to be afraid of my eyes,that’s why I cover it up by growing up my bangs.”-he said.

“I see.”-you replied.-“I like you the way you are.”

“I like you the way you are too,(y/n)-chan.”-he said,caressing your cheek.
